Hey there, it’s Ida Regena.

I am so happy that you are interested in being your best self and committing to taking care of the one and only YOU! Yes!

You know as a woman, and an introverted women no less, who was brought up in an island culture and with an extroverted mother, you could imagine the challenge I experienced with wanting to put myself first.

I was not only trained to be submissive and tend to everyone else needs but also because of my personality, I simply love catering to others. I love making people happy and bring joy into their lives. Well, all of this way of being, got me to a place last year where I really needed to examine how I was treating myself and like Iyanla Vanzant would say "Call a thing, a thing". I had to admit to myself that I was operating from a place of deep self-neglect.

When you get to that point of Awareness and Enlightenment there is no more room for denial. You must face your truth... deal with what is, accept what is and decide to do something about it. If you refuse to turn thing around for yourself, you tend to invite more negative and less than delightful experiences into your life. As I faces my reality I started asking for help, I began working with a brain and mindset coach, I needed to understand myself more fully.

I had begun a journey of self-awareness much earlier but really got focused on understanding the "whys". You know change does not happen overnight so we much commit to the work when the awareness presents itself. When you find the courage to become the You you were created to begin life becomes simpler. When you commit to honoring your soul it's easier to stand in your confidence and personal power. When you know who you are, when you begin loving yourself in the now, exactly as you are in the now, you will want to take care of yourself. When you know that you are valuable, no matter what you have been through and especially no matter what anyone says to you or about you.... my friends... wow! All you will want to do is cherish and care for that magnificent being that you know to be YOU -- your true self -- your glorious essence.
